On February 9, African Express Airways McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (5Y-AXL / 40 years old) collapsed its main landing gear on landing at Malakal Airport, South Sudan 🇸🇸. The aircraft landed short of the runway threshold. The local media stated that there were no injuries among passengers or crew.
