
Last night, Emirate’s new livery A380 was involved in landing accident at Brisbane, Australia. The aircraft, A6-EVK (260), is featuring a “Journey to the Future” livery, promoting the new Museum of the Future in Dubai. The aircraft was unveiled on 4 May 2022.

The accident happened on July 1, 2022 on landing due to a tyre issue. The fuselage was penetrated by debris and the aircraft is now grounded and unserviceable.

The A380 had arrived from Dubai as flight number EK430. After stopping on the runway, the aircraft required towing by tug to the terminal.
